Monthly Blog #2 - April 2019

Another month has passed! And we've now passed the $150 tier so I've finally started making The Sims GBA video. It's taking longer than I thought because Sims GBA games take much longer to finish than I thought, but I'm estimating that video will come out later next week followed by the DS video a couple of weeks after that.

Because $150 was my highest tier, I've added a $200 tier for the Disney Planes review because why not, and a $250 tier which is an excuse for me to finally move on from the Blue Yeti. It's served me well since 2016, but it's absolutely time to up my voice quality.

In April I released two main channel videos - Cars 2 and The Godfather. I planned April to be much bigger, but I underestimated how big of a video The Godfather would turn out to be, and how many social commitments would take place. Performance wise April has actually been quite good however, I just wish I managed to release more. I also released 5 "reliving" episodes, which are always quick and fun to make for me.

I also went on a big CEX shopping spree based on your suggestions and picked up a good bunch of games I want to check out for the channel in one way or another.

I finished Wanted today and have started working on the script for it. I'm aiming for it to release later this week as a bit of a smaller project while I play through Sims games. I'm definitely planning to cover King Kong and Cars 3, and very likely to cover The Simpsons depending on how fitting it is. Unfortunately Blade 2 is NTSC which I didn't realise so I'm not sure if I can play it, and the others I just want to check out to see if they're good, or if there's demand I'll cover them too!

The Q&A video is coming very soon! Though I'm probably going to do them bi-monthly rather than monthly, just because there aren't enough Patrons to warrant that frequency and they take a bit of effort that would be better spent on main videos.
