I am beyond pleased to see you doing these blocking with oil paint. As fate and timing would have it I just started colliding with this problem in my own painting practice and was wondering how to apply what I’ve learned in drawing blocking to oil paint. Of course you express yourself so clearly, covering the subject with your own special ease while clearly identifying potential rat holes to avoid. I would love to see more of these, Thanks a million.

Camera position and perspective control/correction. When it is not possible to position the camera film plane parallel to the flat plane of the subject, perspective distortion will result. This can be corrected via hardware or software. The hardware solution is tilt-shift or perspective correction lense. Discussed here https://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/movements.htm. Software solutions are often called keystone correction occurs either in the camera or as part of the software recording process. For me I am not familiar with s/w solutions, I can only imagine that for live video casts this may become problematic. A tilt shift lense would allow you to position the camera either above or to the side of your drawing surface while correcting the perspective distortion. Perhaps some advice from a professional photographer would be helpful.
