It is best to start with a simple cast painting, like the eye, and proceed into more complex ones like this.

2024-01-10 04:32:42 +0000 UTCNothing special- just rub some oil paint and a little linseed oil over the surface with a rag. Let it dry a few days. Have also used thin acrylic for this if the primer on the linen is also acrylic.
