Hi Stephen, I am late starting this advanced cast drawing a number of months after the original videos, but just wanted your recommendation on drawing along with the videos. I see there is a total of nine drawing hours done by you, in 2 videos. Do you suggest I draw for the 4 hours in the first video (roughly approximating the finish in video 1), then jump right into part 2 for the next 4-5 hours, and finally finish the last stretch (maybe 15-20 more hours, depending on stamina) by myself? Or, after watching the first 4 hour draw along (the unedited no commentary version), should I work on my drawing for a few more hours before jumping to video 2? I would think just drawing with you going through the 9 hours (in 2 videos), then doing the rest myself would make sense, but if you have another, suggestion, let me know! Daniel

Thanks Stephen, great stuff! I really finally understood how and why you began the refinement of the shadow shape at the eye socket on the right- nearest the central light. Makes so much sense to establish this early. Great suggestion.
