What’s the weather like?
Have I worn this a lot recently?
Do I need shots in it?
What other costumes am I wearing and do I have the room?
Am I feeling fit? Can I even fit in it??
Does it need repairs/updates?
Will there be a friend at the table to help me full time cause bending over to get prints puts strain on the costume?
And lots of other dumb reasons haha
Since this was a one day event I wanted to wear something I felt was impressive but not cleavage out cause it is a university and I don’t need to be tits out on campus (plenty of browser history on campus have enough of that) Plus I haven’t worn it in awhile, I’ve put on a bit of weight (so no tummy showing outfits!) also I knew it would be a bit cold And easy to travel with.
It my rush I forgot the wig, but luckily my hair was at a length I could use it. Which it’s VERY rare when I use my real hair.
Anyways it was a fun experience but if you check out my IG stories you will see my RIP wasp boots, and honestly I think I’m going to retire this version of the costume. The breast plate is signed by Stan Lee and Olivier Coipel and probably recast the whole set so there is no chance my current set gets lost/damaged. Also the suit needs some TLC, just after 12+ years sometimes the material itself breaks down no matter how well you take care of it.
