In his place. I'd probably tell some questwright the truth why he is there. That he's here because he learned some information that system is tracking for the sovereign and inorder to keep his secrets sovereign just forcibly removed him away from his friends and family. And all he has to do is tell someone or someone read that information and the system tags everyone receiving the information or giving the information for the sovereign to handle. Or write a letter to the sovereigns representative who's checking Liberty. Basically claiming that senior questwrights are trying to break him to get to a sovereigns secret which the system is tracking which is the reason they kidnapped him away from his family and friends and please let him go home and he will not tell anyone that the sovereigns secret. And the secret is safer that way, than being surrounded by senior questwrights trying to break him. Ideally the letter gets intercepted and read.
