I took option 3 bc it depends. 1. How many words is the book before halving? - if publishers prefer it shorter, then you’re in great shape- halve away. 2. How much do logistics matter to you? - 2 books -> double money. - pre written sequel. 3. (I really liked it as one book) - I read it in bits in pieces over time though. - any preference for keeping it as one book is purely based in nostalgia 4. lol I just saw your update but I was gonna say you should end book one by chapter 39 latest. - having seen your plan it looks good.

2026-01-05 02:00:11 +0000 UTCI can see both sides. Splitting perhaps just as he becomes guild master perhaps or similar would be a good cliffhanger/hook of sorts to leave readers keen for the next book.
