Welcome to the Secret Project: The QuestWright
Added 2025-06-14 15:37:18 +0000 UTCSo, I've had an idea bouncing around in my skull for a while.
What if, instead of focusing on the hero in the story, we look at the guy who hands out quests? And, of those deadly tasks, who assigns them and how?
A lot of LitRPG has bounced around the idea of it, but like Symphony, where we dove into how a LitRPG world gets built, this one dives into how Quests are built and managed.
The official title is The QuestWright: A LitRPG Quest Management Saga.
The current plan is for it to be 6 books long, but as Symphony was supposed to be one book, that may fall out of the window.
Here's the current WIP blurb:
In a world reshaped by the System, Cassio Vale is denied his Calling. It isn't until his fourth and final try that the System grants him his wish: QuestWright.
Now able to create Quests from scratch and assign them at will, Cass must earn reputation, gather experience, and master the mechanics of a post-System Earth where survival depends on logistics as much as steel.
If he wants to matter in this world, he'll have to fix it; One quest at a time.
And the current cover.

It's a work in progress, yes, but I've already written six chapters this week. They get released slowly because I have to check and double-check everything I'm doing. I'll post chapters 1-3 up today, and 4-6 likely tomorrow. Chapters 1-5 will likely go through a second round of edits before release on RR, likely in a month at the current rate of writing.
The release schedule is 10 on the first day, one chapter per day for the week after, then two a week per normal, with, hopefully, 20+ chapters ahead on Patreon. The average length of each book is between 45 and 55 chapters.
Thank you for being here, and I hope you're excited about the new series!
