Saturday
Added 2024-05-10 20:00:22 +0000 UTCHowdy folks,
I may or may not have electrocuted myself today whilst building a PC for my schools new Esports room. I'm alright, but it's made me feel a little weird. I wanted to give a heads up that I've worked close to fourteen hour days the last two days and may not be able to publish a chapter tomorrow due to the extenuating circumstances.
You see, my team tied for this big championship but we ran out of time. So, they asked me as one of the advisors, if we should play on a Saturday or split it after school for a couple days. In my infinite wisdom, I thought it would allow me to write if I just did it after school. However, I didn't consider how long the matches would go, nor the fact that I would have to be the announcer for said matches. That means I had to "act" as a shoutcaster for four hours over two days, after working a full shift (12) while teaching.
All that to say (as my wife likes to say), I am thoroughly exhausted. I'm still going to try to write, but it may just end up being one big chapter on Sunday. However, it was likely going to be one big chapter anyways, so that works out.
Sorry for missing a chappy, but in about a month things are going to change. I'll be out of school and taking that first week off from writing entirely. I'll also likely make the month free for all Patrons as a thank you for sticking it out with me. Then, every two days I plan to publish a chapter. That means 3-4 chapters a week until Creation ends. When it ends, I'm going to take a month off for a breather (standard for writers I'm told), then start mass editing. As each chapter is fully edited, I'm going to publish it here for the second time, while deleting the original. That way I have control and an understanding of how much work I have ahead of me.
Hope that's not too much information all at once, but just understand, I'm trying to do right by your patronage.
Thank you, and I hope you're all doing well.

Oh I didn't even mention. We won the championship. Big ole trophy, lots of happy crying.
