Quick Author's Note
Added 2024-04-08 12:47:30 +0000 UTCAnother, nother, busy busy work week. Pretty soon though, everything will calm down and I'll have more time to write. Should be two chapters like normal this weekend, but next weekend I may have ANOTHER tournament.
This time of year is always my heaviest. I've got Esports events, grade turn-ins, and the wife starts gearing up for outings. This is my first time fully writing a series through an entire year, so I'm shifting and moving with the punches.
The purpose of the Author's note is to give an idea of what happens if I don't finish the series by summer. Should I not finish in time for the great heatwave of Texas to arrive, I'll be posting chapters multiple times throughout the week.
My goal was always to finish the series before my air conditioning explodes, and if for some reason I don't make it in time, that's a good thing for you guys. It is likely I will publish at least four chapters a week, every week, until the series is concluded.
The moment it concludes, I need to take a good breather, likely two-weeks to a month, then I start The Boy and the Stick. After that ends, which will be relatively quick in comparison as it is designed as a Novella, I start editing Creation.
The series will be renamed to Symphony, for publishing on Amazon's KDP and continuity of the Symphonic Universe.
I'd like to try to time the potential audiobook with the novel release, so I can advertise it easier. Again, this is my first time doing all of this, so I have no idea how the process is going to work. My new goal, due to the length that this "final" book is taking (May now have to have a 4th one due to how long the system arc is going to take), is to start publishing my series no later than Spring 2025, with a new one coming out every 2 months.
Of course, if you're a tier-2 Patron, you get the updated (lots of edits needed) novels as a part of the package, but I'm not allowed to do the same with audiobooks. Sorry.
If you have any thoughts on the direction of the story, things you're enjoying or even hating, or just want to say hello, please feel free to write within the comments section.
Thank you again for sticking with me, and I hope you all enjoy the day!
