Patreon changes

Hey all! While I was dealing with the burnout, I gave some thought about what I should change to make Patreon less overwhelming for me. There will be some changes starting from next month:

• I'll be deleting the "Ko-fi bust" reward available for Lava Lamp+ tier

  • Maybe it's just super hidden or not explained clearly, but there hasn't really been any interest for it since I opened it. If you'd still like to commission one before I get rid of it, you can head over to my Ko-fi page and DM me!

    There’s a chance I’ll open them up to the public at some point, so they’re definitely not gone forever :)

• If there's an ongoing comic, Monthly Poll will be on pause

  • Honestly, I feel like MP has been one of the biggest reasons behind my burnout. Waiting for suggestions, until the poll is finished, until people comment their ideas...that's almost half the month gone. And with the MK/Venom comic in progress, it’s been extra stressful trying to finish several pages and the MP winner all in the same month.

    That's why rather than entirely abandon it, putting it on pause while I'm working on another project would be much better. Not dropping it completely, just giving myself some breathing room. It’ll help me put more energy into finishing the comic, and once that’s done, I’ll be able to come back to MP feeling a lot more refreshed. I will of course let you know beforehand if I decide to do another longer comic!

• Commission discount will turn into merch discount

  • You’ve probably noticed that I only open comms once in a blue moon, which is why offering commission discounts might feel a little "misleading" . Since I opened my shop a few months ago, I thought it’d make more sense to offer discounts on merch instead. Totally understandable if you're not interested in merch, but honestly it feels like a more practical reward than a discount on something I only do once a year lol.

• Immediate change: Patron-only sketches (now calling them Super Early Access lol) will be available from the Lava Lamp+ tier instead of Astro+

  • It just didn’t feel right keeping them behind such a high tier, so sharing them at a lower price feels way more fair and accessible imo.

Everything else (bonus poll, voting, timelapses, etc.) is unchanged. Thank you so much for your understanding and support 💜
