Hera’s transformation.
Added 2025-08-31 20:50:23 +0000 UTCWhen Hera is no longer busy keeping all the other goddesses in line under her rule, she has time to pursue other projects and tasks. Such as getting an education. Now Hera isn’t the brightest goddess in the bunch, but she has one thing, stubbornness, and well let’s face it, you don’t have to be super intelligent to get an education.
BTW that is NOT meant as an attack on those who are well educated, or the idea of getting an education. It is simply a fact that a it’s not the degree that tells you how smart you are, it is the person holding the degree that gives it it’s value.

But anyhoo.
Hera gets a whole new life as just a princess of the gods. She carries herself with far more grace and dignity. She becomes gentler, kind, sweet and all around nice to be close to. She even gets a solid group of good friends in her studies. And under the careful guidance of her “human mother” Alcmene, she becomes not only a model student, but a fine and sweet young lady.
I know, Hera is older than Alcmene, but Alcmene has a level of maturity that Hera never really reached.
What about Rhea you might ask.
Rhea was never really close to the Olympians. For obvious reasons, but not because she didn’t want to be. Rhea is more like the distant mother to all the Olympians. The one who observes them from a distance, yet still loves them.
