RAYEARTH WINS!
Added 2025-07-27 17:02:42 +0000 UTCAND WE HAVE A WINNER! A surprising one at that, if I'm honest. I was quietly hoping for Gundam to win, while bracing myself for K-On, so I'm a little blindsided that Rayearth wound up getting the nod. But this is what we're doing next!
Some quick bits of housekeeping: Obviously, there's still a BIT of Baccano left to go, so it'll be a few more weeks before the Rayearth comics actually start. Also, just a quick reminder that I'm only committed to season ONE at the moment. I may or may not put it up to a vote whether or not I do the second season after this, we'll see. Also, just as a disclaimer, this is the first time in a while where I haven't already seen the whole series before at least once. I've seen PARTS of Rayearth before, but not the whole thing. Thus, it's entirely possible that I'm not going to be able to crank out the two-or-three-comics-per-episode level of content I've gotten out of shows I HAVE already seen from beginning to end. I dunno, we'll see.
But yeah! Get ready to close out the summer with the start of some Magic Knight Rayearth!
