But like I always say, this really IS the sort of thing I would have thought too hard about even when I WAS a kid. Like, I know from a storytelling standpoint it's a LOT more convenient to just hand wave away most people's reaction to seeing Guilmon around. We're all tuning in to this show to watch Digimon fight, not to watch a big box get shuffled around for half the episode, so just explaining it away helps keep thing focused... until the show goes and contradicts itself by SOMETIMES having people seeing Digimon still be an issue, but not other times. That's the point where even child me had to start asking "Wait, why would Takato's parents still even be an issue at this point?" And I've said this before, but it's honestly a kind of compliment that Tamers would even provoke this kind of question. A lot of other shows of this ilk would have such bad internal logic that I'd have long since stopped trying to think about it and just started pointing and laughing. I only ask questions when I care!
Oh, and to repeat what I said in the Baccano comic, sorry about another long delay. I felt reeeaaally bad over the weekend, so drawing funny pictures for the internet was surprisingly difficult. The next batch of comics should come out by NEXT weekend.
