April 2025 Update!

Hi y’all, just wanted to let you all know where I’m at with mod updates.

I’M QUITTING THE SIMS TO MAKE INZOI MODS FULL TIME.

Jk, April Fools. I’m not touching that game until being gay in that game is actually viable. Say what you will about the sims, but universal bisexuality has been a thing since day one (and arguably is the reason for its success.)

But for real: I’ve been spending all of march digesting Business and hobbies and it’s given me a lot of insight into how my mods impact npcs in public. For instance the pack intentionally spawns customers with low merds in order to test your businesses facilities. When the game picks a musk lover npc, they refuse to take a shower and start to spread their musk loving tendencies to other sims after a while (tbh this was a dream scenario for me when I first started designing the mod.)

However some people may not want musk lovers to overtake their save files. So the question is how do you strike that balance of having a mod have an impact on the world around the player sim without completing taking over.

Most of my adjustments have been about that question. Making my mods npc friendly without overtaking the world.

The next of course action has been okay how do I incorporate the actual business and hobbies pack into my mods. The good news it’s incredibly easy to make custom business activities. So expect there to be a bunch of those. Also fun fact: business activisties double as club rules. They use the exact same tuning. So all of the new business activies will also double as club activities

I’ve also been adding a bunch of wants to traits to add more goal oriented gameplay!

Anyways things are a moving on a bunch of mods. I don’t have exact release dates yet because basically there’s just so many different things to add and play around with that I don’t want to make any promises, but I should be posting stuff soon.
