Personally I do use the word cunt (probably too often) but yeah I think it might be the most offensive as it is one of the shortest terms you can use so it rolls off the tongue with a bit more venom if used to insult someone.

My mother kicked my brother out for calling her a cunt- we went on holiday and he(like 29/30 at the time) got drunk and just straight up said ‘mum sometimes your just a fucking cunt who is pathetic’ and this was just after lockdown and stuff, we had to distance from everyone bc my mum has a multitude of illnesses. And that’s why she was a ‘cunt’ so she let him back in the caravan that night, found his keys took our house key and the caravan key off his key chain, packed his bags and when she woke up was like ‘get out’ didn’t have no time to charge his phone, or nothing he didn’t have a car or money for the train back home(160+ miles away) so we left the day after, when we got home she grabbed all his shit and threw it out. And was like ‘if he thinks I’m a cunt, I’ll be a cunt’ I’m now 25, and was like 22 at the time, I swear often, but I will never ever call my mum anything like that, even as a joke because her generation finds it so offensive. I’ve tried like 5 different therapists. And all wanted to go to phone or zoom therapies. And I absolutely did not wanna do that for a multitude of reasons, I’m deaf so can’t hear fully especially over video/audio calls. I also live in a household where therapy is frowned upon and my family is home like 99.9% of the time, I ain’t doing it at my work place. But they all stipulated that they would do between 5-10 face to face and then go to batches of 10 zoom/phone sessions and then a face to face. Which makes sense for them, but I absolutely need face to face. And I haven’t found one yet. So I just learnt to journal and burn my issues and learnt to try fixing them myself, and I’m getting there! But Zoom therapy isn’t ever happening for me🤷🏻‍♀️

Australian here, you would be blown away how many times a day you will hear that word. we say it in all types of context. "you are a mad cunt" = you are awesome or cool. "oi cunt" a way to get someones attention. "cunty" = if ya hurt yaself. we call our best friends cunts and our enemies mate.

Such as the older women not like the “C” word since men used it as such a derogatory term and made it so harsh to be called that, then as you get younger such as gen x they don’t like to be called bitch, but then you get to millennials and they use that word for everyone in an “ endearing/insulting” way depending on how it’s used like how there’s others saying they use the “C” word in all types of forms. Love the discourse on language! I hear “serving cunt” in the more LGBT+ drag queen scene and that community, where gender and the commentary about gender roles plays a more central part. A lot of drag queens and drag artists are performing an art that can already be labeled as controversial which why (I think) we hear things that might also be controversial like serving cunt or feeling fishy etc. I never usually say it but am not offended by language. For some reason, the guys talking about the word “cunt” took me back to the movie Pootie Tang, lmao. I agree with Fuhad, we were raised to see it and view it as a negative word. Because of that, how you say it plays a role in how people react to it. But it’s a word, so you have the ability to change how you view it/say it. I love how the lgbtqai+ community turns it into a positive and I’m here for it. Oh, and when it comes to therapy. Yes, I believe it so beneficial. But only when you’re ready or can. I hate the 'C' word. It is so vulgar and inappropriate in ANY situation. It is said here in the UK, in a derogatory manner to women. Thankfully not by anyone I know. As a woman, I find it offensive. I am SHOCKED to hear that Fuhad uses it - "regularly" - too. Wow! I was laughing so much - Even my GP noticed my VERY Hight Blood Pressure, due to stress at work - dropped a little, and a little - and he asked me what I was doing differently, so I told him. So I'm grateful to this Team!

That bit about the Toilet at the beginning - YIKES! For someone like me who is somewhat like a germophobe, but not quite completely - if I worked in your building, that would be a nightmare! I wouldn't use the toilet. God help me. Even if I did go in there - I would use a tissue to open the doors. At this rate - probably walk around with tissues and not touch the Hand Railings, Lift (American = Elevator) buttons etc. As you can't help but wonder if these people even wash their hands! Even if this person is using the toilet "Bidet" style and washing down there instead of using toilet paper - Can't s/he flush????? I would have to resort to going elsewhere or using a "She-Wee" if I worked in that building I watched an Oprah Winfrey Show - (LOVE HER) - years ago where she said a Microscopic Test was done on the peanuts etc people leave on Bar Tables etc for people to eat. The Result = All sorts were seen in there INCLUDING FAECAL MATTER!😳🫣😱🤢🤮 People who had been to tyd toilet had not washed their hands but had duly gone and deeped their fingers in that sharing bowl of snack. After hearing that - I never touched sharing bowls in public again - that leave every Tom, Dick and Harry to stick their fingers in Let's not start with those who double dip😢😮

I know I need therapy now, but I feel like it’s such a hassle, even though I know it would help me tremendously. I do Tele appointments with my psychiatrist for medicine, and that’s fine. dick is more of a term to say, asshole, or rude. it’s more socially used and accepted. cunt is straight to the point, and just super abrasive. just like what Ellis said, it’s a very dehumanizing word. it’s not used much, actually more so now than i think ever before. In the USA, the lgbtq+ typically use the word cunt in a complementary manner so when they say you serving cunt they are using it in a way to say you're fierce.
