I live in Germany- Heidelberg (south west) and can say that especially in Catholic Churches it still isnβt allowed to have a woman as priest or that they can marry/date anyone. I am catholic myself as my federal state is more catholic in general but the church is so damn back in times. Especially when it comes to the LGBTQ + community, itβs sickening. I genuinely hate it.
(Tho in the Protestant church women are allowed to be priests and marry for years now. Also think they are more open to anything really.)
Itβs frustrating and one of million points why I canβt stand behind the church. So I would say it depends on Protestant and catholic as region and country. Here itβs still not allowed as far as I can tell.
