ACID SEAS BASE

On the other side of the glass Mia shudders. Her orders are to encase herself in her rubber battlesuit and go out to face the attackers, but as she watches her squad mate dissolve she can't bring herself to do it.
In a distant control room a corporate controller watches Mia through one of the many base cameras. Her immaculately manicured finger hovers over the button that will trigger the cortex bomb implanted at the base of the reluctant trooper's skull. She figures she'll give the woman another ten seconds to follow her orders, then she'll make an example of her...
