Another fun podcast for listening. Glad to know you're doing alright. The phrase you fumbled around for at the end, Nico, was, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". Far as I understand, this is meant to say that when in another country you try to understand and adapt to that country's customs.

I feel like so much of this tension comes from the feeling that you can't get away from this stuff online, that it's always there and makes people crazy. I think I'd like for it to go back to a time where communities were more atomized and weren't so constantly exposed to eachother. 'Familiarity breeds contempt' fits in this situation I think. Also I woudn't say I'm trying to get away from captialism, but I feel like we'd probably agree on most things and it'd just be a matter of semantics. Thanks again! Looking forward to more!
