Third and Fourth study takeaways: Marijuana is just the drug I chose for this example, there are many other drugs Gen Z uses. Marijuana is the king though, and it messes up your brain development significantly as shown in the 3rd study. The fourth study sampled ~20,000 adults from 18-25 and said 30.5% of the men reported past month marijuana use compared to 24.2% of the women. 3/10 men using marijuana frequently while their brains are developing certainly suggests that it is also very damaging. The same study says 5.3% of Gen Z men misuse prescription drugs such as adderall, xanax and opiods and 1.5% use cocaine/stimulants. For hallucinogens in this study it is 3.8%. Takeaway from the studies: Gen Z is the first Generation that grew up with porn as their brains were developing. I believe excess porn addiction and drug use coupled with online dating has led MSTOWS to go deeper and deeper into the porn rabbit hole as their brains are developing, biologically changing their inherent sexual preferences. One could come to the conclusion that the factors that are damaging young mens brains (porn + drug use) and those leading them to isolation (dating apps + hypergamy) are acting as factors together substantially effecting the homosexuality numbers growing exponentially as shown in my first reference. Unfortunately there’s no studies “proving” this, but I think that the dots connect pretty well. Regarding the “stories” about men going deeper and deeper down the porn rabbit hole, I know they are anecdotal. However, there are enough of them that made me question what is really the cause of this phenomenon and draw conclusions as I have shown here. While not “born” gay, more and more young men are being “made” gay through societal factors that are simply out of their control.
