I can break down the intersex inclusion a bit- because there's a big overlap with transness. Doctors more or less flip a coin to decide how an intersex baby will be surgically treated and what sex will be assigned to them- it's determined by visible characteristics and generally a measurement of how much penis there is. So you end up with a lot of folks who will later transition because the gender gamble the doctors took was incorrect. It's complicated though. Not every intersex person will be trans or consider themselves trans even if they do end up getting gender affirming surgery or hormones. Also not every intersex person wants to align with lgbt causes, but many do! The desire to align themselves is a hope to bring attention to their struggles and to get support for ending unethical surgeries that happen to intersex babies. It depends a lot on what condition a person has- some are more hormonal, some are more visible in terms of genitals or secondary sex characteristics. I don't think the addition of infinitely more flags is helpful though, it really doesn't do anything materially for anyone involved.

Until listening to this, never knew all those things about Scott you mentioned. His donating to Trump doesn't leave an impression on me either. That isn't really much of a demonstration of his beliefs. "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them." I regard Cawthon as just another person who wanted to be creative and do his own thing. He made a game, and it was popular for a spell, but eventually the popularity dies down. It always happens that way. People's respect for the guy seems determined by what they took from the game, much like the two dudes I've been listening to here.
