PSA PLS READ!

Hey hey everyone! I kinda wanna put it out there that I will up my reward tier prices a bit coming next year starting January. I'm going to significantly increase my outside comm prices but not as much here to keep the discounted incentive. What do yall think about that? 

• sketch tier: 15 to 20
• mid tier: 30 to 40-45?
• full tier: 100 to 120

*experimental rn, not for sure on it yet

I'm taking into consideration things like edits/fixes and whatnot that I have to do which can often turn say, a 2 hour sketch into 5, and I end up working for wayyy less than minimum wage per hour spent. I think the work compared to the compensation I get out of it is beginning to wear on me so I gotta do something. 

• I know most patreons don't do individual rewards like I do and do instead like r4ffle (misspelled cuz patreon dun like that) systems or random selection but that's really not my style. I want everyone to get something especially since I don't really draw anything like comics or whatever that people could support. Maybe one day I would certainly like to but I just have no time and it doesn't feel right to me to ask for support without doing something in return

I also am finding that I am deeply undervaluing myself when other artists that I can match the caliber of are charging more than I do for the same or even less work. I hope this is understandable and I know I will probably lose some people (which is valid!! take care of yourselves first and foremost) but I personally do way too much for too little. I too gotta deal with the rising costs of things and for the last several years, my prices have only been updated once and it was by about 10 bucks which is frankly not a lot.

I definitely want to remain accessible but also strike a balance on not burning myself out. I am definitely very nervous about this change as I know no one likes rising costs but I had a bit of a revelation lately and I really need to get my ass on a change. 

So if anyone has any opinions or whatnot, please let me know! This will, again, be effective January and I will put out a post of the finalized prices.
