Good morning patrons! As I have previously mentioned, I am relaunching my Patreon! I really loved using this as a way to connect with my audience, and as much fun as I’ve been having writing these books, I miss that feedback! Of course, this means a new posting schedule, new rewards, and new tiers for subscribers. All the changes are outlined below.
New Posting Schedule
Every Monday the Patreon will be updated with new content. This will include early previews of my books, new chapters of Patreon-exclusive stories, and worldbuilding articles detailing the setting of Steel & Thunder. The posting schedule will be as follows, with certain updates restricted to certain tiers of patrons which I will explain in the next section.
The 1st Monday of the month will be a general update on what I’m currently working on, the status of any books I’m writing, and any other news I might have to share. These updates will be free available to the public.
On the 2nd Monday of the month, I will post a brand new chapter of a story. This will either be an early preview chapter of my next book, or a new, Patreon-exclusive story. This story may be set in the same world as Steel & Thunder or not, it may even be a non-canon story I just want to write for fun. Either way, it’ll be sexy. These stories may appear in print one day but will otherwise only be available through Patreon. Patrons will also have the ability to vote on which story is written next.
On the 3rd Monday of the month, I will post a worldbuilding article about Terra, the fantasy world of Steel & Thunder, covering the history and other details of the settingSome of these articles previously appeared in my newsletter, but I think they will fit in a lot more over here. As with other updates, patrons will be able to vote on which piece of worldbuilding they want to read next. Worldbuilding articles will go public six months after they are first posted.
On the 4th Monday of the month, I will post a new chapter from a collection of stories I call “Dom’s Little Black Book.” These are retellings of true real-world encounters I’ve had over the years, and are a large part of where I get my inspiration from. As with the other stories, these may be collected in print one day but will otherwise remain Patreon-exclusive. Again, patrons will get the chance to choose which story they want to read next.
Finally, on the occasion we have a 5th Monday in the month, I will post the polls mentioned above to run throughout the week. Once they are totaled, I will announce the winners in the following week’s update. Since this won’t happen every month, all polls will be ranked choice, and any options that aren’t selected will get recycled into the next round.
New Patron Tiers
With all the new rewards and updates, new patron tiers are going to be necessary. All tiers grant users access to vote on which story or article is posted next, and each successive tier includes access to the rewards of lower tiers with the exception of one - I’m Just Here for the Porn, Sir. Make sure you read the descriptions so you know what you are signing up for! Tier names are subject to change in the event that I think of something funnier.
$2 - Terran Explorer
This tier gains you access to the monthly worldbuilding articles, providing info and backstory for the setting of Steel & Thunder, Terra. This could be an account of a historical event or maybe details about the way certain magic works.
$3 - Khazak’s Storytime
This tier grants access to my Patreon-exclusive stories, and to read early previews of my next book. These stories may be set in the same world as my others and feature the same characters, or they may be totally different. What I can promise you is they will all be kinky and fun.
$4 - Just Here for the Porn, Sir
This is for those who just want to read my stories and nothing more. This tier gets you access to the stories in the Khazak’s Storytime and Dom’s Little Black Book tier detailed below, but none of the worldbuilding articles.
$5 - Dom’s Little Black Book
This tier includes access to read chapters from my personal Little Black Book, a collection of stories about my real world encounters, as well as the other story and worldbuilding updates.
$10 - Daddy’s Lil' Jockstrap
The only tier with a patron limit. This tier gets you access to every story, article, and update, but with an added bonus: The chance to name a character in one of my stories. I will contact the patron at the start of their billing cycle to work together on a name that fits the character and setting. This is currently limited to two patrons, but that may increase in the future.
All current patrons have now been set to the “Khazak’s Storytime” tier, though the billing cycles for February and March have been skipped. I’ll be kicking off this relaunch with a repost of the first chapter of Steel & Thunder, now updated as it gets ready for print, to be posted later today. The following Monday will be a worldbuilding article, and the final Monday the first chapter from my Little Black Book.
The month of March will follow the new posting schedule detailed above, but all updates until April will be available to all patrons so that you can get a feel for what’s coming and make any changes to your patronage before then. The billing cycle will resume April 1st, so make sure you go in and update your settings before then!
