2025-06-30 20:33:29 +0000 UTCThis may be neither here nor there but I've long felt that "unhoused" is actually worse. "Homeless" seems to me to get at the spiritual lack inflicted upon the person in those circumstances. It's one thing to be without a house, and another thing to be without a home. That being said, however, perhaps "unhoused" also gets at "housing" as a verb, that that is something that can be done for that person. And hey maybe that's sort of paternalistic! Around and around we go while the person remains on the street.
