March 2024 Update

I just uploaded v0.2.2. It's just a small update fixing some stuff for more info head to the pinned post.

So since the v0.2 release I have:

- all but finished one main event (some smaller stuff like short phonecalls or phone messages don't count here as I often just use them for a little setup)

- added a screen that will show when Eileen gets a call. I will also add that to the phonecall by Natalie as part of the intro section of the game. Nothing special, just a little added interactivity for the player

- am in the process of adding a website (in-game website not actual website) for the nightclub. It's not 100% yet, but I am pretty happy with it already. This is in practise also the first work I've done towards implementing the laptop system (similar to the smartphone system) into the game. It's definitely still work in progress and also stuff like the tab-bar at the top of the browser is probably just going to be a facade for a while, meaing it's unusable and just there for looks. BUT I've implemented it in a way that should make it possible to add functionality to it in the future. Oh and you might notice, that the club has a name now.

- added custom mouse cursors. I only did this so I could have the mouse cursor change when hovering a button. For some reason this is not supported by default I think

I plan on adding all that and whatever else I get done until then to next months first ever monthly Beta release on April 26th 2024.

One more thing, I have kind of changed my mind about updating the free version on itch.io. I think I will update it eventually, but I still have not decided on when that will be. The question is how much of a delay there shall be between the release for Patrons and the free release. I'm currently trying to decide between the free version releasing a month later and the free version always being an entire version behind.
