Project Suspended

I'm not sure how long this will be for, if not permanent. But I have suspended the project due to... yet again... another entitled idiot leech.

Such scum has always continued to be the bane of this project. Every time I try to pull back and adjust so that I am not catering to them... they find a new way. Then I have to try something new in order to keep the project going.

It's insane how entitled and egotistical people are now! Feeling entitled to projects that were SPECIFICALLY made only for those who support the projects/creator. Whats even stupider is, the idiot leaked the CaVE Patreon build... a whole 1 DAY before the same build was set to go public. I'm unsure of the mods, but suspect they were stolen too. But I do know that DisplayEx Tool was leaked... and since that only has value with the mods...

The DisplayEx mods and Tool 100% purely exist only for supporters. CaVE used to be for the general public, and now is again. But DisplayEx? The only reason I made that project is specifically for supporters, because I was overwhelmed with their support and felt I could give them more. It is not, and never was intended to EVER be released publicly. I don't reward entitled trolls. I don't make this project for the public users anymore, at all. The only reason CaVE went public again was... exactly this. So such entitled idiots had no falsely perceivable justifiable reason to steal the project and leak it publicly. They get the same exact thing, just later. They may have been used to getting CaVE "for free" before, and now can again. But the mods? The tool? Those never were available to them. They are not missing anything that they never had in the first place.

No. Leakers are not heroes. They are villains. They do harm to this project.

The current build has been disabled from downloading updates. This Patreon has been suspended, meaning only those who have pledged this month can see it. I jumped the gun on that... Maybe I would have been better off just removing the links until I think things through, as now Im not able to re-enable it if I wanted.

The leaker has been blocked, so shouldn't be able to see any new content if/when its posted. But in the meantime, I guess I need to think things through more. I thought I was done with this **** after releasing CaVE publicly again... but it seems not. So I have to think if there is anything more I can do, to ONLY reward those who support, and not penalize them for the deeds of just entitle babies.

CaVE and the mods are back.

I had to react quick, and think later. But upon thinking things through... The damage, while more than it should be... is minimal. The scumbag posted things to an obscure place, and the CaVE part of it is worthless since I would be releasing it publicly tomorrow. It's just the mods that are an issue. If pisses me off that something I made only for you supporters, was stolen and given to the exact type of people of whom which I specifically have been moving to not make stuff you anymore... entitled leeches... But it makes no sense to hurt supporters with their removal. I can't say scumbags like this won't cause me to end the projects in the future, but at least right now... I'm not ready to, over just this.

DisplayEx Tool is still unavailable though. I want to at least look into if there are options to protect it. I have limited ones for CaVE, zero options for the mods. But... the tool... I don't know...
