ANBW ALPHA 4.0.0 RELEASE CENSORED

We're back with another exciting update to share! Our team has been working diligently behind the scenes, and we're proud to announce the latest Alpha Build of our game. This new release unveils some fresh and unique features we believe you will enjoy.

Firstly, we'd like to introduce you to a mysterious new figure in our story - the "Goddess". Her introduction marks the inception of a new narrative layer to our storytelling-focused game. While we're still in the early areas of the game without extensive quests, we've ensured that the Goddess's addition will weave an engaging and intricate thread in our emerging tapestry of tales. We can't wait for you to uncover her mysteries.

Secondly, we're launching the first iteration of our Character Creator. This new feature, currently in its "Minimum Viable Product" stage, gives you the ability to modify the appearance of your character. As it stands, this MVP version provides the basics in customization. We're eager to hear your feedback and suggestions as we continue refining and expanding it in future updates.

Warning

After updating to the last engine version we have been noticing that we are getting video memory crashes. This seems to be an engine issue since this happens across projects.  Please remember to save often.

EXTRA WARNING

The save system will go through a redesign. But don't worry. It will just work.

Features

• New save system.

We recommend starting with a new game and use the old story map if some bugs make you unable to progress at different points.

• The really cool and awesome slowdown/speedup effects on the voices when speeding up or slowing down time is now removed and changed for dead silence.

Expanded gamepad support

• The game will now show gamepad icons when a Gamepad is being used.(ex. it says "Press X" instead of "Press E")

• Added 3D cursor when gamepad is used and game is paused (alt button on keyboard, back button on Gamepad.

Bug Fixes

Input

• Gamepad should now again be fully functional in all the menus and in game situations.

UI

• Text and in-game ui elements should position and scale better.

• Some UI texture elements updated.

Misc

• Some more improvements that should reduce memory usage.

Other

• Updated to Unreal Engine 5.2.1

• A lot of backend improvements that will never be seen by the users
