This title is absolute word soup- I'll think of something more concise when this is ready / posted again.
Theres a con coming up and I've run into abrupt (albeit hopefully mild) medical issues- so I need to get a bit of income. Since I can't take more commissions, im gonna squeeze out an animated YCH thats been on my mind.
So- like- what the heck is this? Animated comic page??
The last two animations I did taught me really important lessons about my animation workflow, and while both went way off schedule while I learned what not to do- I'm able to actually apply those lessons this time.
There will be animation present throughout the entirety of this page, but as rather simple loops or flourishes. The kissing pose will have an idle sway, and the bottom pose will be a full 4-6 frame loop of the good stuff happening. The eye portraits in the middle will have small flourishes and movmeent to sell the hypnosis effect taking place, and the text for the red YCH character will switch between a few different nervous lines. The bottom section will also cycle through a handful of the YCH's different fun thoughts for what they wanna do next.
Layout wise the top section is incredibly WIP at the moment as I haven't landed on a setup that conveys all the ideas necessary for this piece quick enough- but the current iteration at least captures the nervous YCH personality I want. I wanna move the smooch text and hypno-eyes-section text from the bottom of their areas to the top. And the final bottom pose needs to be a bit more horizontal so its not cutting off my ears and so the whole layout can fit into an actual comic page format.
This is a lot of words- but I wanted to get this out and shared ASAP since its my #1 priority right now and Im shooting to have a much more polished sketch I can use for the auction within a day or two.
Wish me luuuuck.
