In the mythos Selene finds a mortal man who she finds incredibly beautiful,so she goes to Zeus & ask him to make it so she can see the mortal's beauty forever,so Zeus puts a curse on the mortal so he's asleep forever & will never age. Selene is very happy about this,from that point she partakes of the eternal sleeping man a lot & and ends up with 50 kid's from him.
