Hello everyone,
Today marks the day NPanic starts his university life up in Austria, and marks the end of the beginning for our very, very productive partnership with the WSC crew.
In just over 10 months, he churned out car after car for us, each with more and more advanced and more modular parts (even though this occasionally also gave us giant headaches), cars that will remain a staple for historic sim racing for possibly decades. Each release celebrated, each new project a joy to work on, this partnership is one of the best anyone could've ever asked for - both for the WSC team and the community as a whole.
But, to me NPanic wasn't just a team member, he's a very dear friend of mine, having even taken the effort to fly out to my country so we could gawk at a few old heaps of metal/fibreglass/plastic on 4 wheels (and the occasional bike, too). In spite of my sometimes scary driving he still stuck around after the trip was over surprisingly!
A guy like NPanic is truly one in a billion, especially in such a niche community like Assetto's historic racing scene, so I'd like to hereby thank him once more for all the amazing work he has done for us and wish him all the best in Austria. I'm sure it won't be long until he has built a harem of Austrian women over there. I hope to see you again there sometime in the future, and hopefully make plenty more digital cars until our retirement from modding in 2078!
Your painter and amigo,
