Formula One 2013 Season v1.0 | Announcement + WIP and updates

First off, a quick note on the recent situation with SDD. Unfortunately, they’ve made incorrect claims of ownership over some of our reworked mods. To clarify, everyone knows the 2003 and 2005 mods came from CTDP and RMT, the 2004 mod was created by MSF with official permission granted to us, and the 2009 season was reworked in collaboration with Forbys. We always make sure to obtain proper permissions for other mods when is possible, such as with ACFL, CRF, MSF, and others. Despite this, SDD noticeable known for making rushed conversions from other teams without authorization and for making DMCA claims without proper proof of property of the mods they have on their page unfairly targeted us, claiming material that is not even theirs, like the 2003/4/5 seasons which led to issues on this platform.

We’re now a community of almost 5,000, if they try to make these claims again, we have the reach and voice to push back in a constructive manner, this can be done by contacting SDD directly regarding the property of these mods, but also in helping platforms like Patreon understand the situation better and avoid another SimRacing604 scenario.

Here’s what we’re currently working on:

• 2013 Season Reworked – A full revamp of this season, including updated liveries, Interiors, tyre models, and more to bring it up to today’s standards in collaboration with Forbys.

• Mercedes F1 2024 – We’ve teamed up with Shillar to create the most up-to-date model of the Mercedes W15. This one is shaping up to be incredibly detailed and realistic!

• F1 2006 Season – One of the most requested projects, the 2006 season is getting a complete overhaul with improved physics curated by the Spectron Racing Team, reworked interiors, suspension and camber adjustments thanks to Forbys, and a brand-new tyre model for a more authentic feel.

• Two Iconic Championship-Winning Cars – Meticulously detailed and brought to life with precision, just like the BMW Sauber F1.08. These cars are currently being developed with physics curated by Spectron Racing Team (the same team behind SuzQ mods and the BMW Sauber F1.08), ensuring they handle like the real deal.
