August 2022 Exclusive Picture: Agnes de la Roche
Added 2022-08-04 14:00:33 +0000 UTCIt was a hard and drawn out battle between Maria and Agnes (and I had to intervene a couple of times to prevent some cheating), but in the end victory was declared by one single vote: princess Agnes de la Roche from "Blake & Mortimer" is this month's Exclusive!
I didn't want to exagerate with the shading since the original is known for its clear artwork with flat colors, so just like with the Tintin picture I decided to include some variants with flat colors as well.
While drawing I also kept thinking "Gee, this does remind me of my own Indecent Descent a bit." No doubt some of the stylings of "Blake & Mortimer" crept into the design of my own time-travelling character.
