Added 2025-02-03 14:00:10 +0000 UTCAs we all know, if you're going to infiltrate an enemy base, you have to access their security grid. Violet, being a consummate professional, knows this and has taken quick, decisive action to do so. Or so she thinks, anyway.
This page was one of the more time consuming ones in this comic, mostly due to the fact that there are a lot of naked women, in an environment that has to make structural sense in order to sell the gag. I had to do a lot of little adjustments to make sure everything worked, and I think I was (mostly) successful. This was also the page that convinced me that I wasn't going to be able to do this story straight through without any breaks. I like to have a page done a week, and these pages, for the reasons I mentioned plus other IRL factors, are taking just a but longer than that to crank out. I have a few more in the hopper, (three to be exact) but after that expect Violet to take a hiatus for a bit while I do some simpler works and get things under control backstage.

I appreciate your saying so! I do try to make sure the humour works as well as the nudity, and I do agree with you that naked women can be funny as well as sexy. I wish the big film studios would do it more.

I love how you consistently give the lie to the idea that naked women can't be played for laughs. And it's not demeaning humour either, but good-spirited, warm and silly.

2025-02-04 00:02:59 +0000 UTCThanks! For longer stories like this, where I know it's going to be a while before the main character gets exposed, I like to put some interim victims in there to tie the audience over. Plus, I enjoy drawing it, so that's a side benefit 😉
