Mod List Improvements & Changes [Important Info – READ]

Hey there everyone! I bet you’re tired of my posts already, but please make sure you read this one…

I’ve made some improvements and changes to the Mod List. Some of these changes were made to help lighten my workload so I can focus more on the actual list itself.

Improvements & Changes

• Redirects for Mod links are now removed.

  • Each mod list pulls data from the google sheet I use to edit the mod list, which automatically added “https://www.google.com/url” in front of each link. They’re now removed from the Mod Name column (still there for other columns though).

• In the Mod List, Latest Changes/Updates was renamed to Latest Status Changes (Last 7 Days) and now shows the last 7 days of mod list updates at all times. Therefore, mods listed there are no longer removed every Monday.

• Mod List Changelog posts will no longer be posted every Saturday. Instead I will make ONE post per patch (called Mod List Updates/Changes or something like that) that will show ALL updates/changes for the currently tracked patch, which you’ll be able to check anytime. These posts will also include a timestamp so you can see when I last updated the Mod List.

  • If there are any crucial updates or any major mods confirmed broken, I’ll send out a post. These won’t be on a schedule and can come any time.

• New Status: Paywalled

  • Description – Previously released mod that was re-locked for a new update. No public versions are available or supported at this time.

  • This new status will allow me to track a couple more previously excluded creators.

Patron Improvements & Changes

• I’m removing the [Google Sheet Edition] of the Mod List because it’s becoming too much work to maintain when there’s not many of you that use it. However, Archived Versions will still be available.

• Emerald+ Tiers – Weekly Mod List Changelogs will now simply be known as Mod List Changelogs.

  • I removed the “Weekly” part because you’ll now be able to choose changes from any date you wish. Then download based on your selections.

• Ruby+ Tiers – Daily Mod List Changelogs will now be known as Custom Mod List Changelogs.

  • Same as Mod List Changelogs.

  • Choose your Creators and Statuses.

These improvements/changes are effective immediately.

→ Pink Diamond Members – Since I redid the mod list, I had to reconnect your lists to the new system. They should be good to go, however, please let me know if you notice anything wrong with them. Make sure to double-check your Filter Views. I did go through and fix them, but there’s always a chance I missed something. I did remove the “New Mods” filter, not sure why I had that there since you don’t need to filter for new mods you already selected lol.

Upcoming Changes

Due to these changes, in the next few days the Mod List page layouts will slightly change to make them less “clunky” and easier to understand (hopefully). I’ll also be updating the Mod Status Key to include the new status.

I believe that’s everything, I’m sorry for any inconveniences these changes may cause. However, in order for me to continue this project, I have to lighten my workload a bit.
