Status Report

A quick status report of what I'm working right now:
EmuDeck ROM Launcher & EmuDecky
I've hit a "writer's roadblock" developing the launcher so besides being pretty frustrated I've used all that knowledge to do something really cool.. a decky plugin to launch your games! ( see attached image). This is going faster than expected, the only thing missing right now is the artwork scraper so I hope I can do a new update to our EmuDecky plugin with this new feature soon. I've also added an option to update the emulators from the Decky plugin, the idea is to bring all or almost all EmuDeck features to the plugin so there's no need to go to desktop mode besides the initial installation. A rom importer will be next :)
EmuDeck MacOS
I have EmuDeck in a working status on MacOS, I just need to migrate all the SteamRomManager parsers, test cloudSync and a first release will finally be ready.
OnionSync
I'm waiting on the OnionOS devs to make some changes since they need to do some important ones to make Onion compatible with EmuDeck, until then is on pause.
EmuDeck Android
I'm fixing all bugs you guys are reporting, I just received a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro so I can test on it. So far it's been tested on Retroid Pocket 2 and 3, Odin 2 and some Galaxy phones. Every device is different, so it's hard to get it right. Edit: It's working on the RP4!

2024-05-16 05:51:35 +0000 UTCI had the same issue. There is a different Patreon called "ES-DE frontend" (not This one "EmuDeck"). Which is quite confusing as heck as we see "android" status updates here... But the links for APK I get are for ES-DE from that other patreon. The idea is the first 5bucks for joining the Patreon gets access to download. We are allowed cancel the Paid subscription but will still be sent the ES-DE Patreon newsletter (even for "free" members) include a download link for the APK. I just downloaded 1.03 last night for the AYANEO Pocket Air. --- Background: This follows that Amazon app store and Google Play Store fiasco where they just wouldn't play nice with the awesome EmuDeck/ES-DE Devs yet allow other crummy faker "emulation" clones on the stores (this has been reported widely by retro and emulation enthusiasts such as Mr Sujano). -- Minor correction I think on the EmuDeck (this one) the instructions a few months back was to get the Android installer files one needs to open EmuDeck for Windows desktop, and in one of the options/settings is a button to Generate Android Installer. My point above about ES-DE still stands as that still sends me emails with the APK. The discord is a bit "noisy' with a mix of Steam (understandable as the OG EmuDeck), ROG Ally, Windows and occasional android Qs such as this one right here I'm replying to ,😂 First world problems
