That's a great question! Sometimes when your working on a character, it's easy to miss some mistakes cause you are used to drawing it a certain way. For this portrait, I kept noticing that the eyes were skewed and not positioned right when first drawing them. Flipping the canvas allows me to check if the proportions look even and not skewed or off. Hope this helps!

Is it easier to work with different sides because of how you hold your pen, or that seeing the different viewpoint helps you pick out details, or something else?
