Ba'el was an orphan with a troubled past. She grew to be a woman of low standing and was grateful for the kind and protective nobleman who chose her as his wife. As fate would have it, he was pulled away to war soon after their wedding.
Ba'el missed him terribly, his presence banished the dreadful fears that had haunted her over her entire life…
On one dark and stormy night, her fears are validated as she's visited by creatures in her bedchamber. Is it her imagination or are these phantasms really there?
