No full length?

I recently watched it again and it never fails to inspire me. Putting yourself out there in writing poetry, every great poet knows that risk. We might not get the response we hoped for, but we expressed our truth. Imagine if the great poets never shared their thoughts because they feared rejection? Would we have Shakespeare? Would we have Whitman? Love isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection. If they’re the right person, they’ll see the bravery in your words.

I can’t wait for the full length. I was hoping to watch it tonight with the hubby.

Casey Salley

An absolute classic!

Check out Hook with Robin Williams as a grown up Peter Pan and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook. Better than the original Peter Pan (IMHO).

Doug Law

You should upload the full length first

Shutter Crazy

Good Morning Vietnam

Mark Twain

When will you post the full length?

You'll also enjoy Robin in Patch Adams-1998. It's another movie where he goes against the norm with heartwarming results.

Hi Guys, will we get the full reaction today? YouTube seems to be getting the movies before patrons do.

I watched this in my English class in high school. It think it was around my senior year so 2000 ish

It was the spring of 1990 when I first encountered “Dead Poets Society,” during my senior year of high school. You can do the math, but let’s just say, the years have certainly added some wisdom to my experience. 😉 Amber, like you, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for poetry, though my journey to this point was anything but straightforward. Picture this: my freshman year, I was tasked with composing a poem to read aloud in front of the class. I was essentially the Todd Anderson of that classroom—quiet, shy, and perhaps a bit socially awkward. In a moment of desperation, I resorted to plagiarism, lifting lines from a book that resonated with me. The reading was grueling, and the guilt that followed was a weight I carried. That was my first and last foray into such dishonesty. Then came sophomore year, a turning point. English class became my sanctuary, where I discovered a love for poetry. I understand that poetry can be an acquired taste, akin to a fine wine that only reveals its richness with time. For me, it was like crafting songs. I’d hear melodies in my mind, and the words would flow, reminiscent of the early Beatles—innocent, simple, yet full of heart. Over time, my work evolved, much like the music that inspired it. To me, a great teacher is one who can distill complexity into simplicity. Mr. Keating embodied this ideal. He didn’t adhere strictly to the curriculum; instead, he encouraged his students to become the authors of their own narratives. He was, in every sense, a catalyst for creativity.

When are you starting to react to the Mandalorian on your TV channel? Speaking of Star Wars, you can see Woody Harrelson in Solo: a Star Wars story He has some comedic moments in that movie as well

Karl Kraus

Robin Williams dipped into his dramatic talent for this movie, talent I had no idea he possessed until I started reading about his whole career as I got older Until this point, he was known for of course, his comedic beats but this was only the beginning of his career in drama If you remember Good Will Hunting, that Oscar win was forecasted when he was nominated for Best Actor here
