After Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams) dies in a car accident, he is guided through the afterlife by his spirit guide, Albert (Cuba Gooding Jr.). His new world is beautiful and can be whatever Chris imagines. Even his children are there. But, when his wife, Annie (Annabella Sciorra), commits suicide and is sent to hell, Chris ignores Albert's warnings and journeys there to save her. Upon arrival, Chris finds that rescuing Annie will be more difficult than he'd imagined.

2024-07-01 00:17:36 +0000 UTCI was wondering when you would start heading down this path, I would say it's about time but manipulating anybody's journey is bad form. I have to say this was the movie that turned my eye towards marvel movies. I was so busy raising the kids and being a coach that I almost didn't even notice the first one. It's all about the timing this one just had the right timing and the kids were at the right age. And I could tell this franchise could build into something big. It was so bad I had a way so many years in between the movies oh well. All hail Wolverine, such the badass.
