Would you be allowed to mention the patreon without going details of whats on it, without linking it specifically - maybe, if its possible, linking a community post where you link your patreon, as that shouldn't matter towards monetisation as its not a monetisable post, and the AI might not be able to determine the video as NSFW just by linking a community post? Edit: Then again, with YT, you might want to check and see if the repercussions would fall on the channel rather than the video for that. Or maybe link a shell twitter account thats sole job is to hold a link for your patreon? IDK if they go deep enough to scour linked third party accounts for NSFW links,nor hope not thatd be insane. Either way its a lotta jumping through hoops unfortunately but its just another click or fingie-poke fir those interested in checking your stuff out.

2021-09-24 09:41:29 +0000 UTCUnfortunately a big issue with adult content patreons is that you are unable to find them through Patreons search function so getting traffic by linking it where you post content is almost the only way to gain access, as trying to find an NSFW patreon page through a Google search can be a needle-in-the-haystack thing. So YT striking vids for having the link throttles traffic like crazy. I think YT does the same with adult content Twitter accounts too, but idk if they'd consider a Twitter that only promotes an 18+ patreon a violation too. You'd probably have to link from YT to an SFW Twitter with a link to the patreon. Insane how the platform that allowed such creators to flourish in the first place is killing their off-platform exploits too. Like, stopping NSFW content is fair enough but they're going a bit overboard imo.
