2023 Plans: Monthly New Game & Game Updates Cycle

I currently have new games on a three month cycle (new game month, followed by game update month, and then queued game month). I was wondering if you would prefer a four month new game cycle or a three month new game cycle in 2023. The other months in the cycle would be game update months (and a queue month if a queue still exists).

The major difference between a three month cycle and a four month cycle is the three month cycle would result in one more new game a year than a four month cycle while a four month cycle would result in one more game update a year than a three month cycle.

Basically overall, in a yearly period...

Three month cycle: +1 new game, -1 game update (compared to four month cycle)

Four month cycle: -1 new game, +1 game update (compared to three month cycle)

Option #1: Three month cycle (no change: what we currently do)

There will be a new game month every three months. Polls for new games would stay the same (50 new game themes poll the first month, 50 popular game themes poll the second month including game themes that advanced from the first month, and then a new game poll between the top two theme choices from the previous month). The other two months in the three-month cycle would be game update months. While I still have a queue for past winning new game themes that are not yet completed, there will also be one queue month in each cycle. For example, while there is still a queue: a three month cycle would be new game month, followed by queued game month, and then game update month.

So basically: New Game Month (January) - Game Update Month (February) - Queue Month or Game Update Month (March) - New Game Month (April) - Game Update Month (May) - Queue Month or Game Update Month (June) - New Game Month (July) - Game Update Month (August) - Game Update Month (September) - New Game Month (October) - Game Update Month (November) - Game Update Month (December).

If there is no queue at the start of 2023: 4 new games total throughout the year + 8* game updates total (*not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

If there is one queued game at the start of 2023: 5* new games total throughout the year (*4 new games + 1 finished game from the queue) + 7** game updates total (**not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

If there is two queued games at the start of 2023: 6* new games total throughout the year (*4 new games + 2 finished games from the queue) + 6** game updates total (**not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

Option #2: Fourth month cycle

There will be a new game month every four months. Polls for new games would stay the same for the first two months in the cycle and the final month in the cycle, but there would be a new poll in the third month (50 new game themes poll the first month, 50 popular game themes poll the second month including game themes that advanced from the first month, a popular game themes poll the third month including game themes that advanced from the second month...the exact number of themes on the third month poll is not yet determined but it would probably be 4 or 5 or 10 or 20 or 25, and then a new game poll between the top two theme choices from the previous month).

While I still have a queue for past winning new game themes that are not yet completed, there will also be one queue month in each cycle. For example, while there is still a queue: a four month cycle would be new game month, followed by game update month, then queue update month, and finally another game update month.

So basically: New Game Month (January) - Game Update Month (February) - Queue Month or Game Update Month (March) - Game Update Month (April) - New Game Month (May) - Game Update Month (June) - Queue Month or Game Update Month (July) - Game Update Month (August) - New Game Month (September) - Game Update Month (October) - Game Update Month (November) - Game Update Month (December)

If there is no queue at the start of 2023: 3 new games total throughout the year + 9* game updates total (*not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

If there is one queued game at the start of 2023: 4* new games total throughout the year (*3 new games + 1 finished game from the queue) + 8** game updates total (**not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

If there is two queued games at the start of 2023: 5* new games total throughout the year (*3 new games + 2 finished games from the queue) + 7** game updates total (**not including commission game updates or monthly Boyfriend Summon updates)

I will reveal the results on September 28th. If you're in a higher tier, then your vote may be increased (doubled, tripled, quadrupled, etc.) depending on the tier.

Note: Current queued games include lizards & reptiles game, foxes game, and Australian animals game. December 2022 is a queued game month in which one of those queued games will be completed. I do not know if the two other themes will be completed in 2022 as it depends on how much time I have each month after completing all other monthly polled content + commissions.
