Patreon - Kobold leftovers
Added 2022-02-02 04:38:08 +0000 UTCI deleted the $1 USD (or Patreon currency conversion equivalent) basic kobold tier last month. Turns out Patreon is still charging people who were in that deleted tier if #1: the patron never switched tiers and #2: the patron never cancelled their subscription. There is nothing I can personally do about the situation because Patreon does not allow me to manually switch a patron's tier and Patreon does not allow me to cancel a patron's subscription.
This only affects 2 "patrons" as far as I know. Patreon is still counting the above people as patrons despite Patreon saying they are not in any tier. Those people will continue to be charged $1 USD by Patreon until one of the following happens: #1: that patron changes their tier; #2: that patron cancels their subscription; or #3 Patreon changes their policy. I doubt option 3 will happen anytime soon, so the patron has to manually change their tier or cancel their subscription. Again, this seems to have only affected two people, the ones in the $1 Kobold tier who didn't switch tiers and also didn't cancel their subscription.
