La'Zairus, the Time Casino is getting the final touches on it in exporting and we're betting that this will be a release to remember! (see what I did there? lol) With a casino literally the size of a planetary freighter, it takes an army to keep it running. And in a setting like this, there's no shortage of people looking for work when they're luck has run out and they're short on life.... Check out the La'Zairus Croupier for today's WIPWednesday!
La’Zairus croupiers are indentured servants to the house, poor souls who lost everything to the La’Zairus casino and were offered a chance to square up their debts by working for the calypt in charge of the casino’s operation. These poor souls have usually been drained of most of their years of life, a majority of their memories, and all of their worldly wealth, and are given just enough to get by while paying off their debts. Most look incredibly old or decrepit (and many are centuries or thousands of years old) and thus, are forced to wear golden masks constructed by the house that give them a charming, smiling appearance, despite the desperation that lies beneath.
