Hey Critical Crew!

August leaves behind the dino-infested tropical islands, and takes us far across the desertlands around the oasis city of Many-Waters. Those who control the water supply, control the populace, and in a setting overran by lepurs and undead gunslingers, every day brings a new threat.

Saddle up your camel and venture forth into the endless sea of sand!

This month brings our latest STL's for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the Grave-Walker! This STL files comes presupported by our good friends at TableFlip Foundry.

Encounters

We've got 5 brand new encounters of varying challenge ratings and settings -ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.

Catch your party unaware with an ambush at an oasis; cross paths with a crazed leper who is looking to bestow the 'gift' of his curse; and investigate a series of murders at a popular bathhouse!

Stat Blocks

You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings to bring to your table - set fear into their hearts with the humanoid swamp of spiders known as the sentiranae; catch them off guard with an ambush from the feline-serpent hybrid serpopard; and get their skin crawling with the enraged leper!

You also get access to our latest monster template - the Lycanthrope (with included werecrocodile stats) - to make for easy reskinning of existing monsters into new, thematic variants!

Items

We've also got our 6 latest items and 1 latest graft! Reward your players with items like the Pharaoh's Staff, Embalming Kit, and Squirt Gun, and our newest graft the Eye of Horus!

Spells 

June also brings you our 4 latest magic spells - with Fell Lasso and Bestow Leprosy bringing the theme to your table. And speaking of thematic, your players will feel the threat level dialed up with the introduction of our latest Epic Cast spell (spells beyond 9th level that are perfect for plot devices and BBEG's evil plans) - Wrath of Plagues - as plagues of epic proportions rain down on an entire region.

Player Options

And you know we've got you covered with player options! 

Back in February's "The Edge of Nowhere" release, we debuted our latest full player class, the gunslinging Renegade (with five total subclasses that month!) This month, we're bringing another Renegade subclass to the table with the Tinkerer armament specialization!

Tinkerers have learned to love the process of tinkering with and augmenting their weapons - applying modifications, coming up with new and inventive designs, crafting ammunition, and more. While some hone their skills on the battlefield, you are more at home in the workshop, creating clockwork devices and weapon improvements!

August also brings our latest player race - the gila-monster folk native to the desertlands known as the Helode! The helode generally live in tight-knit communities that emphasize mutual support and survival amongst their kin, and as such, are often found in large groups. They often dwell in secluded areas away from larger cities, and are not normally seen venturing out into the rest of the world. However, with the ever-growing threat of the Order of the Blank encroaching further into all lands far and wide, some helode find themselves dragged into conflict against their will.

And wrapping up player options are our 6 latest feats and 3 deficiencies, to allow your players to further customize their PC's.

Maps

We've also got 5 new battle maps ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps). These maps are available in both gridded and gridless variations.

And lastly, we are bringing you 8 VTT-ready tokens for all of your online needs!
