February's upcoming Wild West themed release "The Edge of Nowhere" is getting wrapped up and we've got the first look at latest dragon to share for WIPWednesday. Check out the Cactus Dragon!
Cactus dragons are both a blessing and a curse in the harsh lands of Nowhere and the White sea. These dragons store up vast amounts of water in their bodies, meaning that during times of drought, a slain dragon could result in the salvation of a community. However, the dragons are not easy to kill, and frequent hunting of such dragons over the years has led to the species' distrust of others and hatred for most Humanoids. Most cactus dragons will kill a creature as soon as they spot it if they are unable to hide themselves, ensuring it is no longer a threat to them. Some badlands dragons hunt cactus dragons for sport, or to obtain the water within them, and badlands and cactus dragons are sworn enemies.
