Hey Critical Crew!
We wanted to take a quick moment to share what we've been up to this week, in our latest Weekly Developer Diary. As we've shared before, we're always look for more ways to loop you all into the process, so here's some cool things we've been doing this week!
So without further ado, here's what our team was up to this past week:
- Dillon wrapped up the final formatting and exporting of next week's "Gangs of Calydon" release (see the teaser above and cover spread below!) We're eager to share our latest release with you all, and further flesh out the capitol city of Calydon (originally featured in our February 2022 "Her Heart Beats For You" release).

- Speaking of next week and the release... were also getting thing ready for the team to head down to Indianapolis to attend Gencon! We'll be down there Thursday through Sunday taking part in the four biggest days in the TTRPG industry, so if any of you all are going to be there be sure to hit us up so we can meet you lovely people in person! Did we mention we're bringing goodies??

- As such, with Thursday being both the first day of Gencon as well as Launch Day for the new release, "Gangs of Calydon" will be releasing later in the day than usual. We appreciate your understanding!
- The team is already well underway getting September's "The Edyn Expedition" moving through the writing process. The artwork is progressing quickly, and we're loving the new subterranean creatures we've got coming your way. Check out this WIP of the Dark Beast, a creature composed of geodes and rock that hunts the dark depths below the surface.

- And lastly, a bit of exciting news from this past week in regards to the Critical Crafting team. My younger brother Christian "Small One" Olney (my first ever D&D player who I learned how to run the game for when we were kids) has officially joined the Critical Crafting team as our Social Media and Product Marketing Manager. As we've grown over the past two years, adding new social media platforms and now online presences on places like MyMiniFactory, Roll20, DriveThruRPG and more, it's become more than one person can handle. Christian will be helping alleviate some of the marketing workload from Cameron, and also help us start to branch into other mediums like TikTok. Christian has already started learning the ropes of InDesign and Photoshop, to be able to help me with the formatting and exporting process. We're eager to finally have him joining us in an official capacity. So if you see Christian around the Discord server (or reply to us on social media - it will often be him now) be sure to tell him "Hey"!

Hope everyone has a safe weekend!
