For this mid-week check in, here's one of the terrifying creatures lurking beneath the streets of Calydon - the Rat-King!
Rat-Kings are rarely ever seen above the surface, and instead use the sewers and tunnels running below the city to allow them to access to nearly anywhere they need to get. Some scholars and innkeepers alike debate whether the Rat-King is a single entity rather than a species of itself, while others write it off as a wivestale told to keep the kids from venturing into the sewers. With their hordes of rats in tow, laying eyes on one generally means you won't be living to tell the tale - adding to it's near mythical status and causing the debate to live on.
