July leaves the open oceans of the Scattered Isles behind and instead takes us to the far away lands of the yokai. These mysterious beasts are sure to challenge your players in new and exciting ways, so buckle up for a wild ride!

This month brings 2 new stl's for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers! These stl files come presupported by TableFlip Foundry!

We've got 6 brand new encounters of varying challenge ratings and setting -ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.

Take refuge in a (seemingly) empty temple, but beware the Hikeshi Baba's attempts to blow out the lights and allow an evil yokai to enter into the darkened shrine; venture down the coastline and into the territory of a particularly evil Ushi-Oni that is known for disguising itself as a drowning bystander and feeding upon those kind enough to try and help; and awaken in the night to a Baku warding your adventurers from their bad dreams and nightmares!

You get 5 brand new stat blocks of various challenge ratings, centered around the mysterious lands of the yokai, as well as our latest monster template - the Jubokko. Jubokko Treants are twisted mockeries of their former life-bringing forms, developed after years of soaking up the blood of battlefields, awakening not as protectors of nature, but horrid hunters obsessed with consuming blood.

Check out our latest creations like: the Tatsu -  ancient dragons who can often be found near rivers and lakes; the Hikeshi Baba - a yokai posing as an old woman who acts as the forerunner for bigger and badder evil beings; and the Kimon-Oni - evil fiends that enjoy nothing more than tormenting others, and are way more dangerous than their giant-kin Oni cousins.

We've also got 7 new items and 3 new artifacts to reward your players with as they explore these mysterious lands. Check out items like...

And gain access to 6 more of our latest game mechanic, Sigils (introduced last month for the Scattered Isles). Sigils are a magical combination of runes emblazoned onto the surface of a weapon or piece of armor, wand, staff, potion, wondrous item or another magical or common item, bestowing a permanent magical effect onto that item. This grants your players even more ways to customize their gear and weapons, and yet another tool for you as the GM to reward your party with.

July also brings our latest 5 magic spells. Check out spells like: Conjure Kappamaki, every sushi lover's worst nightmare; call forth the power of a shinigami (a yokai of death) against your target with Shinigami Touch; and help whisk your allies out of harm's way with Yokai Step!

And what kind of Critical Crafting release would this be without new player options?! Check out our latest player race, the Kitsune - wandering trickster foxes whose tails split as they age, eventually leading to their obtaining of the ninetails that their kind is best known for.

You'll also get our latest barbarian subclass - the Path of the Oni! These barbarians aspire to become like the kimon-oni, and may wind up making a deal with one to take on some of their power (or even take it by force!) They are terrifying to behold in battle, and are often surrounded by crackling bursts of electricity, as they let their bloodlust lead them to being as feared as their namesakes.

And be sure to check out our 4 new feats and 3 new deficiencies to help flesh out your player characters.

And lastly, we've got 6 new battle maps ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps). Maps like - a cherry blossom forest; a scenic waterfall and river-scape; and a solitary temple in the woods.
