Progress Report and Vent - week 48

Hey there!

I hope you had a good week as mine was awful xD

In very short version, my pc didn't want to read my external backup disk and was crashing programs if too little programs were open, which lead me to buy new motherboard which led me to reinstall windows which pointed out that both of my processors are somehow dead (new one wont allow windows to instal and put out errors, older one, allowed windows to be installed, but all other things were crashing and I couldn't install anything). I tested every possible PC component and it's clearly CPUs. Yesterday I reported them to the sellers and I'm waiting for a response from one and to another one I delivered to the processor yesterday myself and they are processing my request.

In summary, what me and Burner (Thank you for all the help man!) concluded during our research that my old motherboard had problems with power consumption and yeeted two processors. We also discovered that this motherboard was pulled out of the market after similar power problems, so this confirmed it for us.

Now it's a question: do I wait for replacement from sellers or do I buy a new CPU. I don't know yet. I’m thinking hard. What do you think?

I'm not useless though, I do have my old PC, that is my wife's now, so I can work on that, even if it's slower. I still have my laptop where I can write and even code (if I want to torture myself on it). All data from my PC is saved too, sitting disconnected beside me, safe from the harshness of hardware malfunctions.

You may be asking why there are always problems with your hardware, and believe me, I'm cursing the machine gods myself. But it all comes down to this motherboard that is now replaced and old will be sent to be replaced (or better yet, refunded, we will see).

Now for the part you are interested in, I can't show you anything super new I was working on as it's on a disc that is disconnected right now, but I'm working on GH animations for our new girls, a couple of new cgs and chat events for them too. There is also wedlock nsfw event being written with Cynthia and Sergil, sharing focused events. So look forward to it as it will be a good content for evening 'reading' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

When will be the update? I’ll let you know after I’ll think how to proceed with all this mess, but I would say next week.
