Progress Report - wk 37

Hey guys!

I hope you had a relaxing weekend! I'm still working on an update, I need like 2 extra days to finish it.

In the meantime let me tell you what I'm working on and what I finished so the release post will be shorter.

Right now I'm finishing two events, letting Cynthia know about Cookie and Sergil wanting to get into the harem route and Cookie's breastless swimsuit event which I plan to be subscriber exclusive as we haven't had one in a long time. These are the basic additions that were planned. I also spent many hours on rewriting code behind the clients. As you can see on the screen above, all clients now have universal code around their behavior, positions and bar looks. I also got a number of events into a singular object, which was quite irritating as always. Now it's not only better for the engine that I'm using, GMS2 (as I was hitting the limit on the number of objects available apparently), but also optimizes the game better. This was a very time consuming rewrite, but necessary.

Other than that, I’m still working on translation files, adding names to it to make it more readable for people and to know who is talking to whom. 

I also started working on the next main story event, but this one will need more complicated code as this will be a special one, so look forward to it after this update!

All in all, the last 3 days were a bit lazy for me. I think I got exhausted after pushing myself so many hours just looking at the same code, rewriting it, testing every client at every sit with every girl to catch and fix all bugs before release. I think I'll need a week off in 2 or 3 months to catch a deeper breather. But right now we should be fine, because today was a good working day, just like during the week! After this update I'll sit down for a few days to write a bit of the things I neglected lately that I promised event-wise and I'll prepare a few cg's for cafe subscribers (and above). 

Also, look forward to next month, as I'm planning something special for it (thanks to Haseo's idea)!
